Our operations include a dedicated cabinetry and installation warehouse, allowing our team to coordinate cabinetry production, preparation and installation requirements efficiently across customer projects.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinet Maker to join our team in Rocklea.

About the Role:

As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and preparation of custom cabinetry and related joinery products. You will work closely with our production, warehouse and installation teams to ensure cabinetry is manufactured accurately and prepared to a high standard for installation.

The role will primarily be based at our Rocklea workshop/warehouse and may also involve attending project sites when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, specifications and measurements for cabinetry projects.
  • Manufacture, assemble and finish kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, wardrobes and other custom cabinetry.
  • Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber, board and other cabinet-making materials.
  • Operate cabinet-making machinery, power tools and hand tools safely and accurately.
  • Install hinges, drawer runners, handles, hardware and other cabinet components.
  • Check completed cabinetry for dimensions, alignment, finish and overall quality.
  • Prepare cabinetry and components for delivery and on-site installation.
  • Carry out adjustments, modifications and repairs where required.
  • Coordinate with installers and other team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop and warehouse environment.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience:

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • At least three (3) years practical experience in cabinet manufacturing, assembly and/or installation.
  • Ability to read plans, drawings and measurements accurately.
  • Good knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware, fittings and construction methods.
  • Experience using cabinet-making machinery, hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
  • A current Australian driver's licence is desirable.
  • Experience with kitchen cabinetry and custom residential joinery will be highly regarded.
