Consultant Psychiatrist – Intellectual & Developmental Disability
- Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and management for patients with intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder.
- Support community and inpatient teams through a Consultation-Liaison role.

About the role
This role will see you providing specialist psychiatric assessment and management for patients with intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder, primarily through a Consultation-Liaison role supporting community and inpatient teams, with a small cohort of direct patient care.
The role provides professional leadership within a multidisciplinary mental health environment. There is also an opportunity to establish private practice alongside this appointment, with potential support including consulting rooms, credentialling, administrative assistance and introductions to local referral networks.
