Mature Female Support Worker URGENT HIRE

This role is supporting an elderly gentleman in his home,and requests a mature female carer with Australian accent as he has hearing difficulties and really wants to have a chat but can't understand other accents now.
**Must be available on Thursdays and Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support to individuals in accordance with theirindividual needs.
• Assist with daily tasks such as companionship, meal preparation, transport and community access
• Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence and encourages individuals to reach their full potential.
• Establish positive relationships with individuals, families, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and document individual progress, behaviours, and any changes in their well-being.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar support worker role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to support others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts. No week nights or weekends! Woo hoo!
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
