Our client, P & C Technology Consulting, is an Australian information technology (IT) solutions and consulting company based in Docklands, Victoria. The business provides technology consulting, IT development, staffing, cloud services, digital transformation, data and analytics and support across platforms including Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP), Salesforce and ServiceNow.
The business is seeking to recruit for multiple positions, comprising Systems Analyst and Software Engineer roles to support their IT development, consulting and technology projects. The positions will contribute to analysing business and system requirements, designing and developing software solutions, testing and maintaining applications and supporting the implementation of technology solutions for clients. These roles align with the company’s stated focus on IT development, digital transformation, cloud, data and analytics and technology staffing services.
The annual salary for this full-time position is $95,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.
Duties include:
- Analyse client business processes, information and communications technology (ICT) systems and operational requirements to identify system deficiencies, technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Consult with clients, users and technical stakeholders to gather, clarify and document functional and technical requirements for software and system solutions.
- Evaluate existing applications, systems and technology environments and recommend modifications, enhancements or new solutions to meet business and user requirements.
- Develop functional and technical specifications, system designs, data models and process documentation to guide the development and implementation of technology solutions.
- Design, develop and modify software applications and system components in accordance with approved requirements, technical specifications and development standards.
- Write, maintain and optimise program code to support client applications, business systems and technology solutions.
- Integrate software applications, databases, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other technology components to support efficient and reliable system operations.
- Conduct system and software testing, including functional, integration and regression testing, to identify defects and verify that solutions perform according to specifications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve software faults, system errors and performance issues, implementing corrective measures to maintain system functionality.
- Support the implementation, deployment and ongoing maintenance of software and system solutions across client environments, including cloud and other technology platforms where required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, user documentation and operational procedures to support implementation, maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor system performance and project outcomes and recommend continuous improvements to software, systems and development processes to enhance functionality, reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
