This 6-7 month contract role for a Treasury Operations professional is an excellent opportunity to join the dynamic cash transfer and fund payments teams of our client, a global US investment bank. As a Treasury Operations specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s financial operations, with a focus on cash management, liquidity, and regulatory compliance. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Executing daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity management, and foreign exchange transactions
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of treasury activities to stakeholders
• Participating in the implementation and maintenance of treasury systems and processes
• Supporting the preparation of regulatory reports and compliance activities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address treasury-related challenges
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the treasury team

What we’re looking for

• Ideally 3-8 years of experience in a treasury operations role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of treasury management principles, including cash flow, liquidity, and risk management
• Proficiency in the use of treasury management systems and data analysis tools
• Good communication, organizational teamwork, interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge of local payments systems (ie. Austraclear), as well as SWIFT payment system preferred.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Treasury Operations professional to work as an Onsite Consultant via Anton Murray Consulting on an initial 6m+ contract with one of our tier-one global investment banking clients. Our client is a large global US firm, and one of the Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIBs).
