Female Support Worker Mental Health Experience Required
Location: Dee Why, NSW
Shift Schedule: Monday to Sunday (6-hour shifts)
Hours: 9:30 AM 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Casual / Ongoing Support
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to provide support to a participant located in Dee Why, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for support workers with a strong background in mental health and experience supporting participants with complex needs.
Key Requirements
- Female Support Worker (participant preference)
- Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions
- Experience working with high-risk participants
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and provide person-centred support
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Working rights in Australia
Responsibilities
- Provide daily living and community-based support
- Support participant wellbeing and independence
- Follow care plans and risk management strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Build positive and professional relationships with the participant
