The Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly regarded boutique wealth management practice to find an experienced SMSF Specialist or Financial Adviser to join their close-knit, high-performing team.
This is a genuine opportunity for a technically strong SMSF professional who wants to do meaningful, complex advice work in a supportive boutique environment — with an established client base, strong back-office support, and a culture that genuinely values expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing comprehensive SMSF advice across establishment, investment strategy, contributions planning, pension phase, and wind-up
- Managing complex SMSF structures including corporate trustees, related party transactions, and limited recourse borrowing arrangements
- Delivering holistic financial advice across investments, retirement planning, superannuation, tax structuring, and estate planning
- Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships across an established book
- Collaborating with a supportive internal team including paraplanners and client services staff
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the practice
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in a financial advice or SMSF specialist role
- Fully qualified and FASEA compliant — CFP or equivalent highly regarded
- Deep technical knowledge of SMSF legislation, strategy, and compliance requirements
- Strong experience across complex SMSF structures — LRBAs, related party transactions, corporate trustees
- Broad advice capability across investments, retirement planning, and estate planning
- Experience working with high-net-worth or affluent clients
- A client-first mindset with excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Boutique or independent practice background preferred — someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-trust environment
