Senior Cleaner

Full time position (Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia)

Week1 & week2: Mon to Fri

We are currently looking for a reliable and flexible Senior Cleaner to perform a cleaning shifts at Aegis Hilton Park. This is an ideal position for someone looking to take on regular work with a set schedule:

About You

To be successful in this position, you will:

Have done supervisor/supervised role in health care setting.

• Have extensive previous cleaning experience in a health care setting.
• Experience supervising cleaning staff in a healthcare, aged care, or similar environment.
• Be able to work within a team and independently.
• Be proactive, solution driven and reliable.
• Have high attention to cleaning detail.
• Knowledge of infection control principles
• Have a high level of English communication skills both verbal and written.
• Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.

Aegis Hilton Park has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 136 residents in five wings.

Hilton is a suburb surrounded by water from nearby lakes, rivers and the sea. We have used this water connection to name each of the areas, or wings, after local and south west rivers. From north to south there are Swan, Canning, Serpentine, Murray and Blackwood. Aegis Hilton Park is an 'ageing in place' facility and both high and low care accommodation is available in all areas. Blackwood offers specialist dementia care.

As an important part of the team, you will be able to:

• Provide Facility cleaning to a high Aged Care standard.
• Use equipment and chemicals in accordance with training methods.
• Provide a clean and homely environment for our residents.
• Lead the cleaning team in a positive and safe manner.
• Mentor and encourage the cleaning team.
• Assist with the 'On-Boarding' of new cleaning personnel.
• Liaise between Facility Manager and the Cleaning Team.
