We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join a busy and fast-paced finance team within a large organisation. This role will suit a candidate who thrives in a high-volume transactional environment and has strong attention to detail, particularly across accounts payable and financial data processing.
Your new role
- Processing high volumes of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconciling purchase orders and invoices
- Establishing new suppliers and customers within the financial management system
- Maintaining accurate financial records and master data
- Assisting with payment runs and quality assurance activities
- Responding to account enquiries and following up outstanding items
- Supporting broader financial administration and reporting requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or a similar accounts processing role
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Experience using financial management systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of Oracle and previous government sector experience will be highly regarded
