Mercy Community is looking for a Lifestyle Facilitator to inspire joy, creativity, and meaningful experiences in the daily lives of our residents. This is a permanent full-time role based at our Residential Aged Care Facility in Nudgee.
What you’ll be doing:
- Getting to know each resident and tailoring activities to their unique skills, interests, and goals
- Facilitating engaging group programs as well as personalised one-on-one activities
- Contributing to the design of monthly lifestyle calendars in partnership with the Facility Manager
- Recording and reviewing outcomes to continually improve the program’s impact
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Aged Care (with Lifestyle Program experience) OR Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
- A current First Aid certificate
- Experience in a similar role – aged care experience highly regarded
- A Queensland Provisional Green or higher Driver Licence
- Most importantly – a passion for making every day meaningful for others
