Your new roleWe are seeking a motivated and mechanically minded Trade Assistant / Installation Technician to join a dynamic team. This hands-on role involves installing and servicing automatic lubrication and greasing systems on a variety of heavy machinery, mobile plant, and vehicles.Working alongside experienced technicians, you will complete a comprehensive training program while gaining exposure to a diverse range of equipment and customer sites throughout Queensland.
- Install lubrication and automatic greasing systems on heavy vehicles and machinery
- Use hand and power tools to complete installations and modifications
- Assist with servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
- Work on a variety of equipment, with each installation presenting unique challenges
- Travel throughout Queensland, including regional and remote sites as required
- Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, and customer service
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to work
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Exposure to hydraulics, mechanical equipment, or mobile plant environments is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel throughout Queensland when required
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
