Project Mine Geologist

Our client is a leading gold mining operator with active underground operations across WA. With a strong focus on safety, production excellence, and continuous improvement, this organisation is seeking an experienced project mine geologist to support ongoing underground operations during a critical project phase.
Key responsibilities include:
- Face and development mapping and sampling
- Production geology interpretation and decision-making
- Ore control, ore mark-up and grade control activities
- Core logging, processing and geological data capture
- Technical work plan preparation and sign-off for drilling and mining activities
- Database management, updates and reporting
- Building strong relationships with underground supervisors and operational crews
- Working autonomously while maintaining high safety and performance standards
What you'll need to succeed
- 4+ years of relevant underground mine geology experience
- Strong underground production geology background
- Experience with Surpac and Datashed is highly desirable
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
