Allied Health Assistant
- Coordinate and support the delivery of home-based health care to clients across Australia.
- Manage referrals, inquiries, service allocation, enrolment, and discharge processes.
- Work collaboratively with clinical care coordinators and medical admin assistants to provide quality clinical care.
Our opportunity to you
Working as part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you’ll coordinate and support the delivery of home-based health care to clients across Australia. Your clinical care will be driven by a person-centred, holistic, and evidence-based approach.
This hybrid role will be working out of our West Perth office and from home on a full time, 12-month fixed-term contract basis. We are also open to candidates based in other locations who are willing to align their working hours to AWST requirements (e.g. 10:00am – 6:00pm AWST / 12:00pm – 8:00pm VIC time).
The day to day
As an Allied Health Assistant, your role will be to support the effective delivery of care to Remedy at Home and Ramsay Home Health clients.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for referral management, inquiry management, allocation of services, enrolment, and discharge.
This role will integrate well with a team of clinical care coordinators and medical admin assistants, to applying excellent customer service and quality clinical care that achieves a positive outcome for the client.
About you
- Strong virtual/ phone based customer service background
- Experience with data entry and document management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight timeframes and competing priorities
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Strong administration and time management skills, tech savvy
- Passionate about health and committed to making a real difference in the community.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant (desirable)
