Your new company
Our client is one of Australia's largest food manufacturers, supplying high-quality poultry and prepared food products to major food service and retail brands nationwide. With over 1,500 employees and a fully integrated "farm-to-plate" operation, they are known for innovation, quality, and strong operational performance.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance team in Thomastown.

Your new role
Working within the Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the plant and equipment operate efficiently in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Fault-finding and troubleshooting mechanical equipment Performing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance Maintaining conveyors, processing machinery, and production equipment Identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Working collaboratively within a team-focused environment

What you'll need to succeed
Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical - Fitting & Machining)Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience within the FMCG industry (Poultry, Meat, Food, Beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical).Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilityAbility to work both independently and within a teamGood time management and a proactive approach to maintenanceAble to work overtime hours when required
