About the Role
Do you love working with kids and creating fun, meaningful experiences? This is your chance to make afternoons the best part of a child’s day!
We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Child Care Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team on a Permanent Part-Time basis (17.5 hours per week). You’ll work Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm, across two welcoming school communities:
- 3 afternoons at St John the Baptist, Woy Woy
- 2 afternoons at Kincumber Public OSHC
In this role, you’ll bring creativity and enthusiasm to help children learn, play, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll assist the Coordinator in planning engaging activities, build positive relationships with families, and step into the Responsible Person role when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the My Time, Our Place Framework for school-aged children.
- Act as the Responsible Person when required.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment in line with regulations and policies.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young or school-aged children.
- Cert III in Children’s Services/OSHC or working towards (desirable but not essential).
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Completion of ‘Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm’ (mandatory for Responsible Person role).
