Your new role
As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of building operations and services across a defined portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the operation and maintenance of base building services, including HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, fire, security, lifts, and cleaning services
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and risk
- Overseeing contractors, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards and contractual obligations
- Managing CAPEX works and supporting asset lifecycle planning
- Monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial reporting across facilities operations
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations, WHS requirements, and safety standards
- Managing after-hours issues and responding to incidents or outages as required
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, tenants, and service providers
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management
- Ideally relevant trade background
- Strong understanding of building services, maintenance, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing contractors and service agreements
- Sound financial acumen with experience managing operational and CAPEX budgets
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Commitment to safety, risk management, and high service delivery standards
