We are seeking an experienced ERP Data Migration Specialist to join a major enterprise transformation program delivering People, Finance, and Procurement solutions within a modern ERP environment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will play a critical role in the migration of data from legacy platforms into a new ERP solution. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality data migration outcomes through data extraction, profiling, transformation, validation, loading, and archiving activities while ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
This role requires close collaboration across business, project, and technical teams to deliver successful data migration outcomes. The ERP Data Migration Specialist works with subject matter experts, business representatives, system integrators, vendors and project stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues and support decision-making throughout the migration lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Data extraction from legacy systems
- Data profiling, mapping, transformation, and migration preparation
- Development and execution of migration scripts, load files and migration processes
- Data quality analysis and agreed remediation activities
- Execution of migration loads across test and production environments
- Develop and undertake reconciliation, validation, and testing processes
- Other duties as required to achieve data migration and archiving requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Data analyst or engineering capability (Approximate SFIA DENG5 and DATM4/5)
- ETL design and execution using Azure, SQL server, and SSIS
- Data mapping and transformation
- Data reconciliation and validation
- Data quality remediation
- Experience in ERP migration, cutover activities, and archiving would be ideal but not essential
- ERP cutover and deployment experience
- Legacy system decommissioning, archiving, and retention knowledge
- Experience working with system integrators, vendors, and enterprise project teams
