2nd Year Carpentry Apprenticeship

MRAEL is seeking a highly motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd year Carpentry Apprentice for an immediate start.

This role is ideal for an apprentice who already has site experience and a background in renovation work.

Our client is a family-run business that have been providing quality construction and renovations since 2007. Their team of supportive and experienced carpenters specialise in renovations and extensions, as well as custom cabinetry. Well known for their 'workplace wellness perks, our client takes pride in the quality of their workmanship and the people who make it possible.

About the position:

You will be working across a range of renovation and building projects, assisting qualified tradespeople and contributing to all aspects of carpentry including:

  • Framing, cladding and fit outs
  • Renovations, extensions and home improvements
  • Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

Location: Ashgrove, QLD

What we are looking for:

  • Previous on-site experience with a background in renovation work
  • White Card
  • Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Reliable and committed
  • Drivers licence and reliable transport
  • It is essentail that applicants have their own tool belt and basic hand tools.
