Job description: Role: Casual Educator

Location: Kallangur QLD (Located on the traditional lands of the Kabi Kabi, Jinibara & Turrbal people) 

Centre: Goodstart Kallangur - Duffield Road West 

Pay: $42.88ph - $48.29ph (depending on qualification and experience)

Employment Type:  Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 6pm

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you'll be a flexible, team-oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences. 

You’ll achieve this by: 

Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team 

Engaging and supervising the children at all times 

Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members 

Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families 

Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures 

Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

* Long standing service in the community-we actively invite local community members into the centre
* Centre Director with over 17yrs experience in Early Childhood Education

You’ll need: 
ACECQA approved early childhood qualification

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 

Current QLD Working with Children Check  
 Willing to travel between other local services and will have flexible availability between Monday-Friday
* Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
