Are you a skilled Engineering Systems Technician (Electrical) looking for your next opportunity? Join our team, where you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our factory equipment running at its best. This is a permanent full-time position based at our Invicta Mill which follows a year-round day work roster and may require some weekend work, overtime and shift coverage if needed.
Your Role in Action
- Hands-on, field-based work with instrumentation
- Diagnose and Optimize: Examine, troubleshoot, and fine-tune interconnected circuit systems to keep operations running without a hitch.
- Master Complex Control Systems: Tackle fault finding in advanced electrical control systems, working with combinations of pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based, and mechanical subsystems.
- Lead Special Projects: Take charge and collaborate on exciting special projects that drive innovation and improvement.
- Be a Safety Champion: Show a strong commitment to safety and actively participate in safety improvement teams.
- Be part of a team that values your expertise in process control systems and networks
Your Winning Combination
We are seeking someone with the right skills, experience, and enthusiasm. You'll need to be a Qualified Electrical Mechanic/Instrumentation with a Queensland Electrical License and while an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (or progress towards one) is a plus, it's your passion, motivation, and reliability that we value most.
