An opportunity for an Orthopaedics Registrar to join a busy public hospital in Melbourne’s southwest growth corridor. You will support day-to-day operations within the orthopaedics unit, lead patient management, and work closely with senior medical staff. The role offers strong clinical exposure, involvement in research, and participation in quality improvement activities within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily unit operations and supervise junior staff
- Lead ward rounds and manage patient care decisions
- Ensure timely patient assessment, treatment, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication
- Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
