We are currently seeking an energetic & proactive Trainee OTR (Off the Road) Tyre Repairer to join us at our Port Hedland, WA. This will be a residential position (not FIFO) working Monday to Friday.

Trainees can progress to qualified OTR Tyre Repairer in approx 12 months (fast tracked if you have light or heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience/qualifications).
The Role
-
Gain skills & experience in the field of OTR (Off The Road) tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice.

Perform duties at all times with a fully qualified OTR repairer to safely perform tyre repairs in accordance with industry best practice and service standards.

Assist qualified tyre repairers in the performance of tyre preparation.

Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim / tube damage.

Learn to select correct tyres / rims / tubes for each specific job task.

Learn and understand the importance of equipment used on or off site to perform OTR duties safely, meet operational and safety requirements and if not, report any concerns for attention.
