  • An exciting career opportunity has become available for an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join a leading private hospital in Merewether as a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Floor Coordinator. This full-time or permanent part-time position is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to provide clinical leadership and drive operational efficiency within a dynamic Operating Theatre department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient flow, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring that all services consistently meet high standards of safety, best clinical practice, and departmental excellence.

    To be successful in this role, the candidate must hold current AHPRA registration and possess a minimum of 5 years of perioperative nursing experience. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding of ACORN standards, ASNZ5369, and relevant NSW Health Policy Directives. While previous experience in nursing leadership, management, or relieving in Nursing Unit Manager roles is highly desirable, the core requirement is a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
