Sanctus Brewing Co. is looking for a passionate and reliable chef to join our kitchen team at our brewery in Townsend.
We are a busy, community focused venue serving fresh, quality food alongside our locally brewed beers. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced kitchen, takes pride in their food and brings a positive attitude to the team.
Availability:
- Wednesday food preparation shift
- Thursday to Saturday service from 12 pm to 9 pm
- Sunday service from 12 pm to 3 pm
- Part time and full time opportunities are available
The role includes:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a consistently high standard
- Working across our woodfired pizzas, burgers, share plates and seasonal specials
- Assisting with menu development and bringing fresh ideas to the kitchen
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Managing preparation, stock rotation and wastage
- Working efficiently during busy services
Supporting and communicating with the wider kitchen and venue team
About You:
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen
- Relevant cookery qualifications must be provided
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
- A positive team player with a genuine passion for food
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Available to work a flexible roster, including weekends
