A new women's retail store in Northbridge is looking for an experienced Store Manager to take ownership of the store and make it their own.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused retail leader who enjoys building teams, driving sales and creating a strong store culture from the ground up. The perfect candidate is someone who can keep up with a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong operational, customer service and presentation standards.
You will pay a key role in establishing the store, developing the team and driving its success within the local area.
What You'll be Responsible For
* Take full ownership of the stores day-to-day operations and performance
* Lead, coach and develop the team to maximise performance
* Motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve commercial results
* Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales and customer engagement
* Maintain strong visual merchandising standards in line with brand expectations
* Oversee administration, stock management and general store operations
* Analyse store performance and use KPI results to identify opportunities for improvement
* Lead by example on the shop floor and remain hands-on during busy trading periods
* Build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
About You
We're looking forward someone who has:
* Previous Store Management or retail leadership experience
* A strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
* Excellent staff coaching and development skills
* Confidence managing team performance and having difficult conversations when required
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to driving sales
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* The ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume store
* Strong visual merchandising skills and an eye for detail
* The initiative and drive to build something from the ground up
* A genuine desire to take ownership and make the store their own
This is a rare role, working a Monday-Friday roster with no late night trade or public holidays worked.
