Warehousing and Dispatch Supervisor
- Lead the afternoon Load Out team for dispatch operations.
- Ensure accurate labelling and documentation of perishable meat products.
- Train and support team members while adhering to safety and quality standards.
About the Role
The Warehousing & Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for leading the afternoon Load Out team, ensuring accurate, timely, and safe dispatch of perishable meat products in a high-volume environment. Reporting to the Load Out Manager, duties include:
- Oversee packing and loading of export products, ensuring accurate labelling and documentation
- Train, support and coach team members, ensuring OH&S and QA standards are adhered to
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to load boxed products in line with daily schedule
- Ensure product is temperature controlled, rotated, and documented
- Monitor refrigeration and other plant machinery to ensure minimal downtime
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in warehousing or dispatch operations
- Familiarity with export requirements including labelling, packaging, and temperature control
- Strong safety mindset and ability to enforce compliance
- Forklift licence | Q Fever vaccination or willingness to get it
- Systems-savvy | Able to learn and manage multiple platforms
