Director / Managing Director – Securitisation & Warehousing

The Business:

Our client is a growing Australian private credit platform with a a strong pipeline of institutional capital, having recently launched two new funds targeting ~$1bio each. Founded over a decade ago, the business has lent $800mio+ through both the GFC and COVID-19 and is backed by a specialist private equity investor with a track record of scaling high-growth asset and investment managers.

The platform is now seeking a Director or Managing Director to lead the build-out of its securitisation and warehousing capability. This is a senior, high-responsibility role within a lean, collaborative team, with broad exposure across new deal execution, portfolio management and the strategic direction of the ABS strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead origination and execution of warehouse and ABS transactions, with direct senior counterparty relationships
  • Own the structuring of SPVs and warehouse facilities end to end
  • Build and analyse asset pools, including performance tracking and scenario analysis
  • Build out the data analytics capability within the ABS strategy
  • Represent the business externally with institutional investors and counterparties on securitisation matters
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and strategic direction of the origination function

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 7–15+ years’ experience in securitisation and warehousing, including senior leadership or origination ownership
  • A track record of leading or co-leading ABS/warehouse structuring
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skillset; data analytics capability strongly preferred
  • Background from a bank (senior structured finance leadership), rating agency, advisory firm, or private credit platform
  • Demonstrated ability to build or scale a function, own senior counterparty relationships and operate with real autonomy
  • Comfortable working in a lean, high-responsibility environment, with a commercial mindset and strong willingness to learn
