Trackworker - Townsville
- Permanent full-time opportunity for a Rail Infrastructure Worker (Track Worker) in Townsville.
- Involves track maintenance and repairs, operating plant and equipment, and working in a small team.
- Requires MR License preferred and strong commitment to safety.

Remuneration/Benefit: As per EA Base 75k + Generous living away from home allowances + OT
Our Townsville team currently has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Rail Infrastructure Worker (Track Worker). You will be working in a small maintenance and construction team alongside supervisor/team leader, you will carry out track maintenance & repairs to the rail system:
- Operating plant and equipment, excavator, bobcat, front loader preferred but not essential
- Working in a track maintenance team environment
- Carry out regular servicing, minor and preventative maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Work effectively and efficiently on major maintenance projects.
About you:
- MR License (preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety along with an amazing work ethic
- Previous rail experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work cohesively in a small team
- Ability to work weekends and nights if required. (Roster subject to change at times)
- Ability to travel away extensively for work and training across the Aurizon Network
