Retail Leasing Executive

Join a fast-growing, privately owned property investment and development group with a portfolio of more than 80 retail and mixed-use assets across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end retail leasing process across an allocated portfolio
• Proactively identify prospective retailers and new leasing opportunities
• Develop and maintain a strong and active leasing pipeline
• Conduct tenant inspections and present available opportunities
• Negotiate rentals, incentives, lease terms and Heads of Agreement
• Progress transactions efficiently from enquiry through to execution
• Develop strategies to address vacancies and upcoming lease expiries
• Provide recommendations regarding tenancy mix, rental levels and incentives
• Monitor market activity, competitor assets and emerging retail trends
• Build strong relationships with tenants, agents and industry contacts
• Work collaboratively with asset and property management teams
• Maintain accurate leasing records, pipelines and reporting

About You

• Proven experience in retail property leasing
• Experience managing transactions from initial enquiry through to completion
• Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
• An established network of retail tenants, agents and industry contacts
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of asset performance
• A proactive, energetic and results-focused approach
• The confidence to engage with retailers, agents and senior stakeholders
• Excellent organisation with the ability to manage multiple transactions
• High levels of initiative, accountability and attention to detail
• A relevant property, business or commerce qualification will be highly regarded
