Our client is seeking experienced TMA Operators to join their growing traffic management team. This is an excellent opportunity for safety-focused professionals who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for ongoing work across a variety of road maintenance, infrastructure and civil projects throughout Perth.
Working as part of an experienced crew, you will operate Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) vehicles to provide essential protection for roadwork teams while ensuring traffic management activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) vehicles on roadwork and infrastructure projects
- Setting up and supporting traffic management operations in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Assisting with traffic control and worksite safety requirements
- Working alongside traffic management crews on day, night and weekend shifts as required
- Ensuring compliance with Main Roads WA traffic management standards and safety procedures
- Responding to emergency call-outs when required
What you'll need:
- Current WA Driver's Licence (HR or MR licence preferred, depending on vehicle requirements)
- White Card
- Current Traffic Control (TC) accreditation
- Basic or Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM/WTM/AWTM) accreditation
- Current TMA Operator accreditation
- Sound knowledge of Main Roads WA traffic management requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and emergency call-outs
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team
