DC Team Leader - Night Shift (FTC)
- Lead and motivate the Night Shift team to achieve operational targets.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our Night Shift leadership team on a fixed-term contract until January 2028.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, operational excellence and continuous improvement, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the success of the Distribution Centre.
The Role You Could Play:
In this position, you’ll lead and motivate your team to deliver daily operational targets while maintaining a strong focus on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service.
You’ll create a positive and inclusive environment where team members feel supported to perform at their best, while ensuring operational standards are consistently met. Working closely with Operations Managers, Team Leaders and other shifts, you’ll help keep the operation running smoothly.
Lead, coach and develop team members, building capability, accountability and a high-performing team culture.
Coordinate labour and resources effectively to respond to changing volumes and business requirements.
Monitor operational performance throughout the shift, taking action to address issues and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.
Drive operational excellence by maintaining standards, identifying practical solutions and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate and collaborate across teams and shifts, providing clear handovers to ensure continuity across the operation.
What You Will Bring:
You’re a confident and capable people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You’re comfortable navigating changing priorities, using data to guide decisions and keeping your team focused on delivering great outcomes. You lead by example, build strong relationships and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to everything you do.
Previous leadership experience within a warehouse, Distribution Centre or similarly fast-paced operational environment.
Strong operational capability, with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive performance, manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing volumes.
Confident people leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build strong relationships, coach and develop others, and provide constructive feedback when needed.
A safety and improvement mindset, with a strong commitment to operational standards, practical problem-solving and continuous improvement.
You are available to work Night Shift for the duration of this fixed-term opportunity, bringing reliability, initiative and a commitment to leading by example and demonstrating our company values.
