U/G SHOTCRETER – 2/2 ROSTER
- Operate shotcrete equipment to apply ground support to underground headings and excavations.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with underground mining, services and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
Protech are looking for experienced Underground Shotcreter to perform work with our client, located at a mine site in the NT on a 2/2 FIFO basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Hourly Pay Rate: up to $70.65
- Super on ALL Hours
- Weekly Pay (Thurs)
- Casual Contractor Position (with a chance for temp-to-perm subject to availability)
- 2/2 Roster, Week of Days, Week of Nights
- POH: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, or Brisbane. Fly directly to site
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate shotcrete equipment to apply ground support to underground headings and excavations
- Apply shotcrete in accordance with mine plans, ground support requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Monitor shotcrete quality, coverage and thickness to ensure compliance with site specifications.
- Work collaboratively with underground mining, services and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, clean and productive work environment.
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- At least 12 months’ demonstrated experience in operating underground shotecrete equipment (Essential)
- Valid Manual Driver’s License
- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Valid & contactable references
- Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
