Your new role
As their new stores' person, you will play a vital role in their daily operations and will have the following responsibilities, but not limited to the following:
- Assist and perform counterbalance forklift operations
- Contribute to picking orders as well as restocking and unpacking inventory
- Carry out heavy and manual handling when required and within OHS regulations
- Work collaboratively in a team and within departments to achieve company goals and targets.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment and following safety protocols
- Attend to computer tasks within the warehouse when required
What you'll need to succeed
To be a succesful applicant as our clients new stores person, you will hold the following:
- Valid High Risk Work - LF Licence
- Previous experience in counterbalance forklift operations, high reach is highly advantegous
- Exposure to the warehousing industry in previous roles such as pick packing, stores person, warehouse operative etc.
- Willingness to learn and take onboard instructions
- Physically fit to carry out manual tasks and majority on your feet/standing for duration of shift
- Contribute to ideas towards the business and hold passion for the manufacturing and logistics industry
- Ability to pass a physcometric test prior to commencing in the role
- Reliable transport to and from site
