High Reach Forklift Operator - $37 p/hr (Day shift) – Glendenning New

Location: Glendenning, NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Training: First week, 6:00am–2:00pm
Pay Rate: $37 per hour + superannuation

We are currently seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join a well-established Australian-owned warehouse operation in Glendenning.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of forklift operation, picking, packing and general warehouse duties. Approximately 50% of the role will involve forklift operation, with the remaining time focused on manual handling and warehouse tasks.

About the Role
Your duties will include:

• Operating high reach forklifts up to 6 racks high, including some double-deep racking
• Operating counterbalance forklifts to load and unload B-doubles, semi trailers and rigids
• Picking long pallets up to 6 metres in length
• Replenishment, putaways and picking
• Picking orders using paper pick slips and RF scanners
• Picking oversized furniture and bulky/awkward freight
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Receiving and despatch
• Palletising and consolidating stock
• Wrapping and strapping products and pallets
• Manual handling of bulk products
• Re-stacking pallets
• Matching paperwork to customer orders
• Checking final paperwork against outgoing orders
• General warehouse housekeeping
• Heavy lifting of products up to 20kg

This is not a high-speed, fast-paced warehouse environment. The role offers a steady mix of forklift operation and manual warehouse duties, with support from a labourer when required for picking and pallet consolidation.

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

• 3+ years’ experience operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts
• Current LF forklift licence
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Replenishment, putaway and picking experience
• Experience handling bulky goods, long pallets or awkward freight
• Pick and pack experience
• RF scanning experience
• Palletising and shrink-wrapping experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of WHS requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work
• Comfortable frequently getting on and off a forklift
• Reliable attitude and strong team focus
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
