Refrigeration mechanic

A permanent full-time role for Refrigeration Mechanics and AC Installers within a specialist organisation providing air conditioning and electrical products and services in the Fraser Coast Region, QLD. For Refrigeration Mechanics and AC Installers interested in working for a reputable company in the field of air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and electrical systems.

Your normal day includes the following duties.

• Use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systems
• Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
• Install electrical wiring and controls and test for their proper operation
• Inspect and maintain HVACR systems
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts
• Determine HVACR systems' energy use and make recommendations to improve their efficiency

You will need

• A valid trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic or relevant field
• Strong background in working with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Hold a current Refrigerant Handling License and possess up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and protocols
• Possess a sound understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms
• Experience with electronic control systems is highly desirable
• Problem-solving abilities, Communication Skills and Safety-consciousness
