Compliance Auditor - Level 3

For a Compliance Auditor to ensure regulatory compliance and process improvement for a leading government agency.
A Contract Full Time position within a collaborative and high-performing team.

• Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Salary guide: $100–$120 per hour.
• Location: Canberra Region.

Your normal day will involve:

• Performing compliance audits and assessments across financial, operational, and policy-driven programs.
• Reviewing processes, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions to ensure regulatory and organisational compliance.
• Supporting the development and implementation of compliance frameworks and best practice standards.
• Preparing and presenting clear, detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Working collaboratively with internal and external teams to gather data and ensure audit timelines are met.
• Contributing to the implementation of policies and compliance strategies within the organisation.
• Influencing decision-making by providing insights on compliance trends and emerging risks.
