The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Supervisor to join our team in a unique leadership role. This position will primarily oversee operations within 1520, Crown Perth's premium speakeasy-style venue, while also providing leadership support across the Urban Food District.

Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will lead front-line teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive operational excellence, and ensure the highest standards of service across both bar and food & beverage operations. The role is ideally suited to a hospitality professional with a strong bar background who enjoys leading teams and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations within 1520, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.

  • Support operational requirements across the Urban Food District as required.

  • Coach, develop and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.

  • Ensure compliance with responsible service of alcohol, licensing requirements, and Crown policies.

  • Drive bar service excellence, product knowledge, and beverage-focused guest engagement.

  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness.

  • Assist with staffing, service planning, and venue performance initiatives.

About You

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a bar, cocktail lounge, premium hospitality venue, or similar environment.

  • Strong knowledge of beverage operations, cocktails, wine, and responsible service practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
