Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client is a well-established organisation with operations across Australia. With a focus on quality, continuous improvement and operational excellence, they are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their busy HR team.

The Role
We’re seeking an organised and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist for an urgent temporary assignment through to the end of the year, with the potential for extension.
Working closely with the HR team and operational leaders, you’ll help deliver high-volume recruitment across a range of blue-collar roles. This is a hands-on coordination position suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can juggle competing priorities, and takes pride in delivering a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment for a high-volume workforce 
• Review applications, screen candidates, and assist with shortlisting
• Schedule and support interviews, including attending interviews with shift managers
• Liaise with labour hire agencies to meet workforce requirements
• Arrange reference checks and pre-employment medicals
• Coordinate new starter onboarding, inductions and site tours
• Organise onboarding requirements such as IT access and introductory meetings
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and keep candidates informed throughout the process
• Prepare regular recruitment reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders
• Provide general recruitment administration and ensure processes are followed

About You

• Previous experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, or HR administration
• Exposure to high-volume recruitment, ideally within a blue-collar, FMCG or industrial environment
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to administration
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across different levels of the business
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
