Production Supervisor - Afternoon Shift Just posted!

Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a food manufacturing business in North Brisbane on afternoon shift.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the production floor, leading from the front and keeping operations running safely and efficiently. You’ll oversee daily production, drive team performance and ensure production targets, food safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets, line speeds and staffing levels meet operational requirements.
• Lead, coach and support production team members, providing clear direction and maintaining accountability for performance.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, food safety and product quality across the production floor.
• Monitor production performance, update dashboards hourly and ensure operational paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and minimise downtime.
• Identify and escalate safety hazards, quality concerns and production issues promptly.
• Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

About You:

• 3–5 years’ supervisory experience within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes, HACCP and GMP requirements.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, support and hold team members accountable.
• A strong focus on workplace safety, product quality and housekeeping standards.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, allocate staff effectively and respond to operational challenges.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
