Forklift Operator (High Reach) | Warehouse (6am to 2pm) | Berinba QLD
Job Summary
Step into a steady, early-finish warehouse role with a clear pathway to permanency after an initial temp period. This position suits an experienced forklift operator who enjoys a fast-moving DC environment, takes pride in accuracy, and can confidently manage scanning and paperwork.
Benefits
- Stable full-time hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Temp-to-perm pathway: 3-month temporary contract with intention to go permanent for the right person
- Forklift-focused role: strong mix of High Reach work plus general warehouse support
- Hourly rate guide: approximately $34 to $36 per hour (depending on experience and tickets)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift (including High Reach, where required) to move stock safely and efficiently
- Pick, put-away and replenish stock using RF scanning / WMS processes
- Accurately read paperwork, follow instructions, and complete basic warehouse documentation
- Support day-to-day warehouse flow including staging, dispatch prep and general housekeeping
- Work to safety standards and maintain a practical, hands-on approach on the warehouse floor
Requirements
- Current LF forklift licence with solid on-site forklift experience
- High Reach experience strongly preferred
- Confident using RF scanners and working within a WMS environment
- Strong attention to detail (you can follow paperwork properly and stay accurate under time pressure)
- Reliable transport and punctuality for a 6:00am start
- Safety-first attitude and a practical, no-fuss approach to work
