Senior Account Executive

We're looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to provide senior-level broking support and help lead a small team through an exciting period of growth and change.
You'll take ownership of a portfolio (SME to mid-market) and play a hands-on role in setting the tone, structure, and standards of the Robina branch.
Who will you be working with?
You'll be joining a well-established insurance broking business as it launches and builds out its new Robina office. Working closely with experienced leadership and a small on-site team, you'll play a key role in setting the standard for client service, mentoring and supporting the people around you, and helping shape the branch as it grows. It's a collaborative, hands-on environment where your experience will be valued, and your input will genuinely influence how the office operates day to day.

What will you be doing?
- Managing and servicing a portfolio of SME to mid-market clients
- Leading and supporting a small on-site team (including an AAE and support staff)
- Building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality advice and service
- Contributing to branch stability and growth as the office becomes established in Robina
- Potential to step into Branch Manager/P&L responsibilities (based on experience)
- Negotiating with insurers and underwriters to achieve the best possible terms, pricing, and turnaround times
What do you need?
- Strong coaching and mentoring mindset, with the maturity to lead by example
- Strong knowledge of General Insurance products and placement processes
- A proactive, steady presence, comfortable helping shape a new office environment
- Strong technical broking capability across the SME and mid-market sectors
- Confidence in mentoring and supporting others (informally or formally)
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or Senior Broker within insurance broking
