Role Opportunity
An opportunity to join a growing local engineering consultant as a Senior Structural Engineer, delivering design engineering solutions across a range of mining and mineral processing projects. This role combines hands-on technical design with the leadership of a small structural team.

Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia.
- 10+ years consultancy design experience
- Mining and minerals project background
- Strong SpaceGass experience
- Brownfields capital project experience
- Site inspection experience required
- Strong stakeholder management skills & able to guide junior engineers
- Strong understanding of industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver structural design for minerals and heavy industry projects, including mining structures, non-process infrastructure and associated facilities
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications
- Coordinate work packages with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Contribute to design reviews, constructability assessments and risk management
- Support project delivery through all phases including concept, feasibility, detailed design and construction support
- Engage with clients to provide trusted technical advice and solutions
