Part-time Bookkeeper to support growing business

Your new company
This growing construction business is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to support the CFO in the day-to-day accounting support functions. With modern offices in Eagle Farm, the team offer a welcoming and collaborative environment and the opportunity to expand on your knowledge and skills in finance and accounting tasks.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices
Matching invoices to purchase orders and job costs
Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries
Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records
Chasing outstanding invoices and statements
Assisting with month-end bookkeeping activities
General data entry and ledger maintenance
Assisting with BAS, and reporting as required
What you'll need to succeed
Previous bookkeeping experience in a commercial environment, ideally the construction or projects sectorStrong accounts payable and reconciliation experience
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Strong communication skills and a professional approach to stakeholder relationships
Exposure to job costing systems would be highly desirable.
