Delivery Person

Our client is looking for a full-time Delivery Person to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a truck driver role focused on furniture delivery and flat pack assembly, working Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday on a 38-hour week. The position is based on an hourly rate of $32 per hour, with shifts typically running from 7am to 3pm. If you're reliable, physically capable, and have experience getting furniture safely to customers' homes, this could be the right fit.
- Deliver furniture and flat pack items to customer locations across the region
- $32 per hour (Neg), 38-hour week with flexible shift patterns (Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat)
- Opportunity to build furniture on-site and develop additional skills in assembly
Preferred Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture delivery and handling flat pack items
- Current, valid truck driver's licence appropriate to the vehicle you'll be operating
- Ability to work safely and efficiently, meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre furniture and flat pack components
- Any experience assembling or building furniture is a valuable addition to your skill set
Preferred Qualifications
- Current truck driver's licence (class and type relevant to the role)
- Demonstrated experience in furniture delivery or logistics
- Formal training or certification in furniture assembly or flat pack handling
