About the role
The People and Culture Advisory team are the first point of contact for people-related employee and manager queries and delivery of all processes related to contract variations, including:
- Providing a high quality service and guideance to managers and front line staff with information regarding policies, enterprise agreements and Eastern Health standards and guidelines
- Providing coaching and support to managers through accurate and timely advice in areas relating to performance management, grievances, leave management, flexible working arrangements and transition to retirement
- Processing employment variations for existing employees and coaching managers on SuccessFactors processes
- Collaborating with P&C Business Partners, Employee Relations and the Victorian Hospital's Industrial Association to ensure that Eastern Health's practices are consistent with industry practice and industrial instruments
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or significant relevant experience
- Ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of a team to deliver organisational outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with enterprise agreements and a good understanding of relevant legislation
- Demonstrated understanding of and capacity to deliver a high quality customer service
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise
- Health industry experience (desirable)
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
