Specialist Consultant - General Practice (GP) - 2700 per day

Locum cover is required from 13 July 2026 - ongoing.

Position Details:

• Fellowed GP/ED
• FRACGP and/or FACCRM
• In the absence of a GP Specialist Qualification, the CMP must be assessed as a (senior) HBMP and considerable Emergency Medicine experience in a rural setting
• Current ED CME qualifications, e.g., NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST)
• $2700pd – 2 week minimum

This is a small regional hospital in the Kimberly region of WA, 222 km north-east of Broome.

The hospital is very well appointed and equipped and caters for medical, surgical, paediatric and maternity care and has a busy emergency service.

The hospital is also the main base for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the region.
