Our client is a leading Australian distributor and manufacturer of sustainable, compostable, and biodegradable food service packaging.
They supply eco-friendly alternatives to plastic products—including containers, cups, and cutlery—to cafes, restaurants, and businesses nationwide.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Lead to take charge of the day-to-day warehouse operation.
You’ll lead by example, keep the team focused and productive, maintain high safety and inventory standards, and make sure customer orders and stock transfers are completed accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team.
- Allocate staff and labour to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently.
- Drive productivity and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all WHS and site safety standards are followed.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and daily safety checks.
- Oversee receiving, storing, picking and dispatching stock.
- Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory and minimise stock discrepancies.
- Ensure customer orders and transfers between PAC Trading sites are completed on time.
- Support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
- Manage warehouse equipment, facilities and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Monitor performance and take action where improvements are needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience leading a warehouse or logistics team.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of WMS and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of WHS and warehouse safety.
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current Forklift Licence – essential.
