Our client is a respected national builder with a highly diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and specialised developments. With a strong reputation for delivering quality projects, they continue to secure new work across the Eastern Seaboard, including a growing pipeline of medium-density residential developments and custom-build projects

Your new role

As a result of ongoing growth and a number of recently awarded projects, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join their high-performing Special Projects team. Working across a diverse range of developments, you will play a key role in delivering accurate estimates for high-spec custom homes and medium-density residential projects from concept through to construction.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Preparing and issuing tender and quotation packages to suppliers and subcontractors

Producing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for labour and material procurement

Reviewing plans, specifications, and documentation to determine project costs

Analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitiveness and budget alignment

Supporting project teams with cost planning, reporting, and estimating advice

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in an Estimator position across residential, medium-density, commercial, or specialised construction projects

Exposure to childcare centre developments will be highly regarded

Strong proficiency with Databuild, Bluebeam, Planswift, CostX, or similar estimating software

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to cost analysis

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
