Looking for a role where you can take ownership of your clients, work closely with experienced Partners and continue progressing your career?

We're working with a well-established accounting and advisory firm in Bendigo that is experiencing continued growth and is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to its team. The firm works with a broad range of privately owned businesses, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals, providing a mix of compliance, taxation and advisory services.

You'll have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own portfolio while working alongside a supportive team of experienced accountants and advisers. The role would suit someone who enjoys client interaction, wants to be trusted with more responsibility and is looking for a long-term career within a progressive regional practice.

About You

• CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards qualification.
• 5+ years' experience in Australian Public Practice.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounting and Australian taxation.
• Experienced in preparing accounts and tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and working with limited supervision.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior accountants would be advantageous.
