Synergie Australia is seeking a Communications Officer for a trusted National infrastructure services client located in North Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or East Perth.
The important parts:
- Pay: $30-60 per hour + Super | ⏳ Duration: Immediate start, 6-month contract (potential for extension)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, | 38 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:
You'll play a key role in supporting a major NBN transformation project, designing and implementing communication and engagement channels for a large subcontracted workforce. This is a hands-on communications role suited to someone who enjoys stakeholder engagement, translating complex information into clear messaging, and driving workforce adoption of new initiatives.
- Design and implement communication and engagement channels for field-based workforces
- Create and distribute workforce communications, project updates and operational bulletins
- Partner with project teams, managers and field delivery crews to ensure key messages are communicated effectively
- Support workforce engagement initiatives across large-scale telecommunications projects
- Coordinate communication platforms, digital tools and mobile workforce applications
- Monitor engagement activities and provide insights through reporting and analytics
- Support project delivery, stakeholder management and change management activities
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have 3-5+ years' experience in communications, employee engagement, stakeholder engagement or project communications
- Have experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, construction, utilities or related industries
- Be confident engaging with stakeholders across both corporate and field-based environments
- Possess excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Have strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly SharePoint and collaboration platforms
- Bring a proactive, relationship-focused approach and enjoy working in fast-paced project environments
- Experience with workforce engagement, change management, Viva Engage, Teams or mobile workforce applications will be highly regarded
